The legislation for the people who wish to work in Venezuela points out that there are kinds of visas depending on the kind of work that will be done in this country. The cost to process the visas is around the 60 dollars and they have validity between 1 to 3 years, there is also the possibility of asking for an extension. • Visa for business transient: It is given to trades people, executives, companies or industries agents, non-migrants, who wish to enter to the country in order to accomplish mercantile, financial or commercial activities or another lucrative activity. • Visa for investor transient: It is given to people or company agents. They must prove that they have established contacts in Venezuela and their investment has been accepted by the official Venezuelan organisms concerned. • Visa for business or industrial transient: It is given to people that demonstrate they own companies or industries that work at their domicile or they have subsidiaries business in Venezuela and they are traveling in order to make activities related to them. • Visa for domestic employee transient: It is given to domestic employee of a diplomatic, consular or auxiliary official of the Republic who is credited abroad or an official representing Venezuela accredited to an International Organization, when he return definitively the country. • Visa for work transient: It is given to the people who go to work to Venezuela and they have a job permission expedited by the Ministry of Labor.
