Cathedral of San Cristobal


It is located between the 5 Street and Road 3, in its firsts years the cathedral of the city was a small chapel, which had to be remodeled several times due to earthquakes that hit the city.
The cathedral of San Cristóbal has a colonial style that comes from the XVIII century. It preserves paintings and pictures of important artistic and historical value such as the paintings that venerate the images of San Cristobal, "El Cristo de Limoncito" and San Sebastian.
In front, on both sides of the central portal, are exhibited two beautiful carving stones that represent the shields of the city.
