The Government Palace

It was originally know as "The major house", but then, it received the name of "The Eagles Palace" or "The Condors Palace", because they were included in 1929 to its cornice a couple of figures similar to condors as part of its decoration.
This building dates from the XVIII century, but it was reconstructed in 1929. It worked as headquarters of the jail in the colonial epoch, but at the present time it constitutes the regional Government seat, it is located in the historic urban center, next to the Bolivar square.
