The Baralt Theater
This theater was inaugurated the July 24, 1883, and in 1928 it was ordered and executed the demolition of the old theater and four years later, in 1932, it was inaugurated in the same corner the new Baralt Theater. From 1955 this theater was put under the protection of the University of the Zulia and in November 1981 it was declared national monument of Venezuela becoming Cultural Patrimony of humanity.
In addition to the regular functions that they present, offer directed tours, it also rents its living rooms to diverse particular entities, and it also has pedagogic programs. Today the Baralt Theater has as purpose to never close, by means of solid, continued and constant programs, dedicated to the public from Zulia, from Venezuela and public around the world.
