Getting Around


In order to know more about this city you can choose one of following means of transportation:
• The main roads by which you may access to the city are the principal highways 10, 16 and 19.
• There are rail lines, but are used exclusively for transportation of minerals.
• The ferrys navigate through the basin of the Orinoco River and there are many bridges cross it.
• There are 14 ports and there is a direct entrance to the Caribbean Sea through the Orinoco River.
• The principal airport in the city is the international airport "Carlos Manuel Piar".
