Maestranza Cesar Giron
This plaza is located on Avenue April 19. It was designed by the architect Carlos Raúl Villanueva, its style is similar to the Bellver's Castillo located in Mallorca and the Real Maestranza in Seville, Spain. It is one of the most important bullfighting places in Venezuela and it was inaugurated on January 20, 1933.

It was originally inaugurated during the dictatorship of J. V. Gomez with the name "Calicanto". It was later renamed in honor of the famous Venezuelan bullfighter César Girón who died in an accident in 1971. In 1983 it declared as municipal tourist monument and, in 1994 it was declared a historical monument in Venezuela. Its current capacity is about 7 thousand spectators.
